OUR PROJECTS

Kinderspittal Zürich

The University Children’s Hospital Zurich has been operated by the Eleonorenstiftung since 1874. The goal of the realization of the new building was not only to replace an existing hospital, but also to create a groundbreaking architecture. It was desired to create a place with charisma, where both infants, adolescents and their parents feel as comfortable and secure as possible despite their individual fate, and which supports the treatment process and the work of the staff as far as possible through its architectural and functional design. The research departments are now scattered throughout the city of Zurich. In the new building for research and teaching, world-renowned research and university teaching will be combined under one roof. Here, eyrise meets its responsibility to improve performance, minimize environmental impact and create attractive jobs for the professional staff working in the Reaseach and Teaching building. The opennes of the central circular atrium, covered by eyrise dynamic glass creates a healthy and productive workplace with a permanent access to vital daylight. The glass immediately controls the incoming thermal radiation and sunlight. This enables immediate adjustment of the quality of daylight to your individual needs, while preserving the view.
